To access the UNIZIK Postgraduate Form 2026/2027, candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee. Indeed, the fees vary depending on the level of study:
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD): 25,000
- Master’s Degree (M.A., M.Sc., etc.): 25,000
- Master of Philosophy (MPhil) / PhD: 25,000
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD): 50,000
General and Specific Requirements
In addition to departmental standards, all candidates must meet the general academic requirements. Primarily, you must possess five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language, at no more than two sittings. Furthermore, the specific grade requirements for higher degrees are as follows:
- Masters Applicants: You need a first degree with a minimum FCGPA of 2.50/5 (or 45%). Alternatively, a PGD with a minimum FCGPA of 3.00/5 is acceptable.
- PhD Applicants: You must have a Master’s degree with a minimum FCGPA of 3.50/5 (or 60%). Moreover, PhD candidates must submit a typed research proposal (maximum 5 pages) and prepare for a virtual proposal defense.
- Transcripts: All applicants must ensure their former institutions send their official academic transcripts to the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies, by September 11, 2026.
