The management of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has officially approved an extension for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening registration. This extension allows candidates who selected EKSU as their first choice—or those currently effecting a JAMB Change of Institution—additional time to complete their online applications and upload required academic credentials.
The exercise covers candidates seeking admission into full-time undergraduate degree programs across various faculties for the current academic session.
Eligibility & Entry Requirements
Candidates taking advantage of this extension window must fulfill the following baseline requirements:
UTME Cut-Off Mark: Candidates must have scored 140 and above in the 2026 UTME (higher score thresholds apply for competitive courses such as Medicine, Law, and Nursing).
First Choice Selection: EKSU must be selected as the First Choice institution on the JAMB portal. Candidates changing to EKSU must update their institution choice on JAMB CAPS.
O’Level Requirements: A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.
Direct Entry Applicants: Must possess a minimum of Upper Credit in Higher National Diploma (HND) / National Diploma (ND), Distinction in NCE, or minimum of 6 points in IJMB/JUPEB.
Step-by-Step Guide to Apply on the EKSU Portal
Follow this registration sequence to successfully submit your screening form before the extended deadline:
1.Access the Portal:
Open your browser and navigate directly to the official EKSU portal at eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng.
2.Create Screening Profile:
Select “2026/2027 Post-UTME Application” and enter your JAMB Registration Number alongside personal details to generate your profile.
3.Pay Application Fee:
Generate your payment invoice and pay the mandatory non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.00 online via Remita using your debit card.
4.Upload O’Level Results & Bio-Data:
Log back in to enter your O’Level grades, upload clear scanned copies of your results, and upload a recent passport photograph.
5.Submit & Print Screening Slip:
Verify all entered information for accuracy, click Submit, and print out two (2) copies of your official Post-UTME Screening Slip.
JAMB CAPS Verification Notice: Ensure your O’Level results are fully uploaded and verified at an accredited JAMB CBT center. Unverified O’Level records on JAMB CAPS will prevent EKSU from recommending you for admission.
