Statutory Entry Streams & Requirements
1. National Diploma / Higher National Diploma (ND/HND) Nursing
This non-terminal 4-year integrated training path leads directly to professional licensing as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) with an academic HND framework.
- JAMB UTME Benchmark: Candidates must have participated in the 2026 UTME and obtained a minimum score of 180 and above.
- JAMB Subject Matrix: Strict combination of English Language, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
- First-Choice Protocol: Applicants must choose either OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife OR Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa as their first-choice institution. If not, a prompt Change of Institution via JAMB CAPS is mandatory.
- O’Level Foundation: Minimum of 5 credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in not more than two sittings. Subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. (Note: NABTEB results cannot be combined with any other exam type).
- Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
2. Post-Basic Perioperative Nursing Program
A specialized 12-calendar-month advanced program commencing in November 2026 for certified practitioners.
- Academic Foundation: 5 core O’Level credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
- Professional Licensure: Current valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) as a Registered Nurse.

For ND/HND Nursing Aspirants:
- Access the Central Admissions Hub: Navigate to the official school portal at oauthc.gov.ng/schools or go directly to the registration node via oauthc.gov.ng/admission_con.php.
- Profile Mapping: Input your valid 2026 JAMB Registration Number to fetch your baseline biometric details from the national database.
- Process Registration Fees: Pay a total of ₦20,000.00 flat rate processed securely via the online portal. This breakdown includes a ₦2,000.00 standard screening fee and an ₦18,000.00 institutional portal access fee.
- Data Population: Carefully fill out your bio-data grids and input your exact O’Level certificate grades and sitting details.
- Print Exam Slip: Conclude your submission and print your official Computer-Based Test (CBT) screening pass showing your assigned time and batching data.
For Post-Basic Perioperative Candidates:
- Visit the portal node and select the Post-Basic Perioperative Nursing Link.
- Make a standard application fee payment of ₦15,000.00 flat via the integrated Remita payment gateway.
- Complete the digital profile, upload your credentials alongside proof of your NMCN registration, and submit the hardcopy profile printout to the Coordinator’s office before Friday, 21st August, 2026.
