LASUSTECH uses an online, document-based grading framework for this screening session. Therefore, candidates are not required to write a physical post-UTME examination on campus. Instead, the central screening system automatically ranks applicants based on their 2026 UTME scores and verified O’Level results.
Statutory Eligibility and Departmental Cut-Off Marks
To qualify for the screening layout, your academic parameters must clear the university’s institutional baselines. Specifically, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- General UTME Cut-Off Mark: Applicants must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in the 2026 UTME.
- The First Choice Rule: The portal restricts registration strictly to candidates who chose LASUSTECH as their First Choice institution. If you did not choose the school first, you must process an immediate Change of Institution via the JAMB portal.
- O’Level Foundational Layout: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subject blocks via WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. These credits must include English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
- Direct Entry Parameters: DE applicants must have a valid 2026 JAMB Direct Entry registration. Additionally, they must upload clear scans of their National Diploma (ND) certificates, NCE, or IJMB results.

The administrative workflow coordinates your data profiling and payment through a secure web gateway. Follow these precise steps to complete your registration:
- Access the Central Portal Node: Open your browser and head directly to the LASUSTECH admissions gateway at lasustech.edu.ng and select the student application link.
- Initialize Candidate Account: Click on the 2026/2027 Undergraduate Screening panel. Next, input your valid 2026 JAMB Registration Number to pull up your core details.
- Process Screening Remittance: Generate your transaction invoice profile. Subsequently, pay the mandatory screening processing fee of ₦2,000.00 using your debit card via the integrated online payment portal.
- Populate Academic Grids: Log back into your active applicant workspace. Carefully fill out your bio-data fields and input your exact O’Level grades.
- Upload Documents and Submit: Upload crisp, clear scans of your O’Level result statements, your JAMB result slip, and a passport photograph. Finally, cross-check for typos, click submit, and print out your completed LASUSTECH Screening Slip.
Critical CAPS Reminder: Candidates must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to their personal JAMB CAPS profiles. Because the university’s screening engine runs automated validation checks against the national database, empty JAMB profiles will face systemic rejection.
