Following the 2026 JAMB Policy Meeting held on May 11, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) has officially opened its admission portal for the 2026/2027 academic session. Known as Nigeria’s first Entrepreneurial University, JABU is now accepting applications for Post-UTME, Direct Entry (DE), and Transfer candidates.

2026 Admission Requirements
Primarily, JABU has updated its entry requirements to align with the latest national educational policies:
- JAMB Cut-Off Mark: The national minimum of 150 applies. Highly competitive programs like Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Law typically require higher scores for final placement.
- O’Level Credits: Five (5) credits in relevant subjects at no more than two sittings.
- The “No Math” Rule: In line with the 2026 Policy, Mathematics is no longer compulsory for several Arts and Humanities courses at JABU (e.g., English, History, Religious Studies, and Theatre Arts).
- Direct Entry (DE): Candidates with ND, HND, NCE, or JUPEB/IJMB are eligible for 200 Level. Notably, HND holders in relevant fields can apply for admission directly into the 300 Level.
Application Procedure & Fees
Specifically, candidates should follow these steps to secure their screening slot:
- Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₦20,000 (subject to minor portal charges).
- Registration: Visit the JABU Admission Portal to create a profile and fill out the form.
- Uploads: Ensure you upload your 2026 UTME result, O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), and a passport photograph.
- Change of Institution: If JABU was not your first choice, you must visit a JAMB CBT center to complete a “Change of Institution” to JABU to be eligible for CAPS processing.
Screening Centers & Dates
Indeed, JABU offers the convenience of decentralized screening. Exercises hold every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at 9:00 AM in the following locations:
- Main Campus: Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State (Oba Olashore Auditorium).
- Lagos Office: 50, Ikorodu Road, Fadeyi Bus Stop.
- Abuja Office: CAC, FCC DCC Headquarters, Area 1.
- Port Harcourt Office: CAC, 25 Umuduru Street, Mile 3, Diobu.
