The management of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has officially opened the student portal for the OOU medical and completion of third verification process. This announcement is vital for all newly admitted students who have already paid their acceptance fees and completed the initial O’Level result verification. This final stage is the last hurdle before you are assigned your official matriculation number.

How to Start the OOU Medical and Completion of Third Verification
To begin, you must log in to the OOU Student Portal using your JAMB registration number and your surname as the default password. Once logged in, navigate to the “Medicals” tab to download your Health Form (Form A). The OOU medical and completion of third verification requires you to undergo a physical fitness assessment at the University Health Centre on the Main Campus in Ago-Iwoye.
Medical Screening Procedure
Before visiting the clinic, pay your medical registration fees via the portal. Take your printed receipts and Form A to the Directorate of Health Services. During the OOU medical and completion of third verification, you will undergo:
- Haemoglobin genotype and Blood Group tests.
- Chest X-rays and Urinalysis.
- A physical consultation with a university doctor.
Final Document Clearance Checklist
The “third verification” refers to the final departmental and faculty clearance where your physical files are cross-checked against your digital uploads. Ensure you have the following documents ready:
- Signed Medical Fitness Form: Bring the original and 2 photocopies.
- JAMB Admission Letter: Provide 2 photocopies (Institution copy).
- OOU Acceptance Fee Receipt: Present the original and 2 photocopies.
- Birth Certificate or NIN Slip: Provide 1 clear copy.
Completing the OOU medical and completion of third verification on time is the only way to ensure your name is included in the upcoming matriculation ceremony. Arrive at the health center early, typically by 7:30 AM, to beat the daily queues and finish your screening within 48 hours.
