The board directed all tertiary institutions to expedite their screening processes and finalize candidate uploads on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) in strict compliance with the newly approved institutional timelines.

JAMB emphasized that no tertiary institution will be permitted to process or upload candidates’ admission lists beyond their respective category deadlines:
- Mandatory CAPS Usage: All offers of admission must be recommended by institutions and approved by JAMB through CAPS. Any admission granted outside the CAPS platform remains null, void, and unrecognised by the board.
- First-Choice Priority: Institutions are mandated to exhaust their list of qualified first-choice applicants before opening supplementary windows for candidates who executed a Change of Institution.
- Clearance of Pending Awaiting Results: Universities and polytechnics must ensure that all candidates who uploaded newly released O’Level grades (WAEC and NECO) are screened prior to the October 31 and November 30 cutoff dates.

efacility.jamb.gov.ngregularly to accept or reject admission recommendations on time. - Confirm O’Level Upload Status: Ensure your verified WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results reflect properly on the “My O’Level” tab on CAPS.
- Respond to Transfer Offers: Candidates who were recommended for alternative programmes must visit the “Transfer Approval” tab on CAPS to accept or decline the course adjustment.
