The management of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) has officially announced the commencement of online profile processing for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise. The university’s central database administration has activated the candidate dashboard to ingest data records for this academic session.
Screening Mode Notice: EKSU utilizes a purely document-based online screening model. There will be no physical post-UTME examination on campus. Your final screening score will be processed using an automated point-system based on your 2026 JAMB score and your verified O’Level subject weights.
Statutory Eligibility and Faculty Cut-Off Benchmarks
To ensure your applicant folder successfully clears the university’s automated filtering scripts, your performance parameters must align with these criteria:
The Choice Clause: EKSU will consider candidates who chose the institution as their First Choice. However, candidates who did not choose EKSU initially but scored 150 and above are highly welcome to apply, provided they execute a Change of Institution to EKSU on their JAMB CAPS dashboard.
General UTME Cut-Off Baseline: Open to candidates who participated in the 2026 UTME and scored a minimum of 150 and above for general courses.
High-Tier Faculty Cut-Off Benchmarks:

O’Level Foundational Layout: Minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subject blocks (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
Direct Entry (DE) Core Mandate: DE candidates must possess a minimum of Upper Credit from a recognized Polytechnic for Engineering programmes and Lower Credit for other fields. NCE holders need Credit/Merit in relevant teaching subjects. EKSU accepts JUPEB (minimum of 7 points) but strictly does NOT accept IJMB for admission.
