The wife of the Abia State Governor, Mrs. Priscilla Otti, has distributed back-to-school materials to 1,000 indigent pupils drawn from more than 50 public primary schools across the 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state.
The distribution exercise, carried out through her non-governmental organization, the Safe Tent Care Initiative, is aimed at reducing the financial burden on low-income families and ensuring that socio-economic background does not hinder access to basic education.
