The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, has officially released its Post-UTME screening form for the 2026/2027 academic session. This major release covers applications for undergraduate Degree (B.Eng/B.Sc) and National Diploma (ND) programmes.
The military-run Air Force Institute of Technology has opened its digital gates for high-performing engineering and science aspirants nationwide. Running from May 18 to July 20, 2026, this registration window allows both military personnel and civilian candidates to compete for spots in highly competitive tech fields.
JAMB Cut-Off Marks and Institutional Eligibility
AFIT operates a strict tiered cut-off system depending on the specific program path you want to follow. You must achieve these specific thresholds to qualify for screening parameters:
- Undergraduate Degree Programmes (B.Eng / B.Sc): A minimum JAMB score of 200.
- National Diploma (ND) Programmes: A minimum JAMB score of 160.
- O’Level Requirements: Five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in no more than two sittings.
- First-Choice Window: The final deadline to change your institution choice to AFIT as a first choice is July 3, 2026 for degree streams.

Candidates must complete their application through the secure central portal and pay a non-refundable screening processing fee of ₦2,000. Follow these steps to complete your registration:
- Modify Your Choice: Visit an accredited CBT center to perform a JAMB Change of Institution making AFIT your first choice if you haven’t done so already.
- Access the Form Portal: Navigate directly to portal.afit.edu.ng.
- Generate Invoice: Click on your designated program path (Degree or ND), input your JAMB registration number, and generate your Remita payment slip.
- Process Fee Payment: Complete the ₦2,000 payment online using your debit card or pay directly at any commercial bank branch.
- Complete Profile Upload: Return to the site, log back in with your access details, input your precise O’Level grades, and submit.
- Print Your Slip: Print your final acknowledgement slip. The specific physical screening dates will appear directly on the portal.
