The Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA), affiliated with the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), has announced that its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) application for the 2025/2026 academic session is still ongoing.
All qualified candidates are invited to apply before the deadline. Applicants should follow the official instructions carefully to complete their registration successfully.

Eligibility Criteria
For Direct Entry (DE) Applicants:
- A minimum of 8 points in NCE/IJMB.
- At least a Merit in a recognized Diploma programme.
For 100-Level (UTME) Applicants:
- Minimum UTME score of 150.
- Five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects.
- Candidates must also satisfy the specific subject combination for their chosen course.
Application Procedure
Candidates are to follow the steps below to complete their registration:
- Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.
- Present both original and photocopies of academic credentials.
- For UTME applicants: Bring the JAMB result slip.
- For DE applicants: Bring the JAMB registration slip.
- Upload O’Level results to the JAMB portal.
- If changing school or course, use the JAMB Change of Institution portal and select ASCOEA (UNIMAID Affiliation) as first choice.
- Proceed to complete either a physical or online screening through the ASCOEA Applicant Portal.
Important Information
- The screening exercise is open to both UTME and Direct Entry candidates who meet the requirements.
- Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues or network delays.
- All official updates will be published on the ASCOEA portal and other approved communication channels.
