Registration Fees and Walk-in Options
To finalize your WAEC GCE 2026 First Series Registration, you must pay a standard fee of ₦27,000, plus a ₦500 bank commission. Candidates who miss the January deadline can still utilize the “Walk-in” option, provided they register at least 24 hours before their chosen paper. Note that walk-in registration attracts a significantly higher fee of ₦45,000. Early registration ensures you secure your preferred urban examination center without extra costs.
CBT Format and Online Mock Exam
This series continues the council’s innovative hybrid examination model. During your WAEC GCE 2026 First Series Registration, prepare for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for all objective questions. However, candidates will still write answers for essay and practical papers in traditional booklets. To help students adjust, WAEC offers an online mock exam.
