The management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has issued vital directives to all prospective candidates participating in the 2026/2027 Pre-Admission Screening (Post-UTME and Direct Entry) exercise.
If UNILORIN is your first-choice institution, staying compliant with these instructions is essential to securing your admission placement on JAMB CAPS.
Key Admission Requirements & Directives
1. Mandatory O’Level Upload on JAMB CAPS
UNILORIN management emphasized that admission will strictly depend on complete O’Level verification.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of five credit passes (including English Language and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings.
- Awaiting Result Candidates: Applicants awaiting WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results were allowed to apply for the screening, but must upload their official O’Level grades to the JAMB portal immediately upon release. Failure to upload O’Level results directly disqualifies candidates from consideration.
2. First-Choice & Score Thresholds
- Candidates must have selected UNILORIN as their First Choice institution on the JAMB portal.
- The general UTME cut-off mark for screening eligibility remains 180 and above.
