The management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has officially announced that all Engineering programmes in the institution will now run for six (6) years, in line with the new directives for engineering education and professional standards in Nigeria.
This adjustment affects both current and incoming students across all engineering disciplines, extending the traditional 5-year duration to 6 years.
In addition, the University stated that the Faculty of Technology Induction Ceremony for 2025 has been suspended until further notice.
