The Management of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has officially opened the online portal for Direct Entry (DE) candidates seeking admission into 200-level undergraduate degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
All qualified candidates who selected LASU as their First Choice in the 2026 JAMB Direct Entry registration are required to complete their online screening and physical document submissions.

Eligibility Criteria for LASU Direct Entry Candidates
To qualify for participation in the screening exercise, candidates must satisfy the following institutional rules:
First Choice Selection: Must have selected Lagos State University as their First Choice institution during the 2026 JAMB Direct Entry registration.
Approved Qualifications: Hold valid certificates or notification of results in relevant disciplines, including:
LASU Diploma / Recognized University Diploma
National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND)
National Certificate in Education (NCE)
JUPEB / Cambridge A-Levels / GCE Advanced Level
O’Level Credits: Possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) in no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
JAMB CAPS Upload: Ensure your O’Level and A’Level results are properly uploaded and verified on your JAMB CAPS dashboard.
Step-by-Step Online Application Guide
Follow these steps to complete your online registration on the LASU screening portal:
Access the Portal: Visit www.lasu.edu.ng, navigate to Student, and select New Applicants $\rightarrow$ UTME/DE Screening.
Login Credentials: On the DE screening portal, log in using your JAMB DE Registration Number and Surname.
Generate Payment Invoice: Select the Admission Screening Fee option to generate an e-payment transaction ID.
Make Payment: Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee via the integrated LASU e-payment system.
Complete Data Entry: Return to the dashboard, enter your Transaction ID, and accurately fill out your personal biodata, O’Level results, and A’Level qualification details.
Submit & Download Report: Review all information, accept the certification declaration, submit, and print out your Online Admission Screening Report.
Mandatory Physical Document Submission
Unlike UTME candidates, Direct Entry candidates must complete a physical submission step at the main campus:
Important Instruction: Immediately after completing your online screening registration, you must submit hard copies of your Online Admission Screening Report and Notification of Result (Diploma/NCE/HND/A-Level) to the Admission Annex/Liaison Office (Room 7, Administrative Block II, LASU Main Campus, Ojo).
