The Federal University of Kashere (FUK) has achieved a major academic milestone as the National Universities Commission (NUC) grants full approval for four new degree programmes. This follows a successful resource verification exercise conducted earlier in 2025.
Beginning from the 2025/2026 academic session, FUK will officially commence the following full-time programmes:
- MBBS – Medicine and Surgery
- B.Sc. – Human Anatomy
- B.Sc. – Human Physiology
- B.Sc. – Pharmacology
This landmark approval highlights the visionary leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Umar A. Pate (Kaigama of Adamawa), whose commitment to expanding FUK’s academic landscape continues to strengthen the university’s reputation across Nigeria.
Furthermore, the newly approved programmes will significantly boost the university’s contribution to healthcare education and research. With this development, FUK is now positioned to train a new generation of medical and health science professionals equipped to meet national and global standards.
