Admission Requirements
Candidates must fulfill all basic and programme-specific prerequisites prior to applying:
- O’Level Requirements: Must possess five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects—including English Language and Mathematics—at WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in no more than two sittings.
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD): Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of Third Class) from a recognized university or a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit.
- Master’s Degrees (M.A., M.Sc., M.Ed.): Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognized university.
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.): Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a related field with a weighted average score of not less than 60% or a CGPA equivalent of 3.50 on a 5.0 scale.

1.Visit BOUESTI Portal:
Action: Access Official Portal.
Navigate to the official university portal at portal.bouesti.edu.ng and click on Postgraduate Application.
2.Create Application Account:
Action: Enter Applicant Info.
Provide a valid email address, active phone number, and full name to generate an application profile and invoice.
3.Pay Online Application Fee:
Action: Remita / Card Payment.
Proceed to pay the prescribed postgraduate application fee online via Remita using a debit card or bank branch transfer.
4.Complete Form and Submit:
Action: Upload Documents & Transcripts.
Fill in your educational background, upload required passport photographs and academic credentials, and request official academic transcripts to be sent directly to the School of Postgraduate Studies, BOUESTI.

Are official academic transcripts mandatory for final submission?
Yes. Candidates must request their former institutions to forward official academic transcripts directly to the Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, BOUESTI. Unofficial transcripts will delay admission processing.
Can HND holders apply for Master’s programmes directly?
HND holders are generally required to complete a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in a relevant discipline with a qualifying CGPA before gaining entry into a Master’s degree programme.
