How to Check Your Admission Status
To confirm your admission status, candidates should:
- Visit the official website www.akscons.edu.ng
- Click on “Check Admission List.”
- Select the campus chosen as your first choice and search for your name.
- If your name isn’t listed under any campus, check the Floating List section.
Floating List Information
The Floating List contains names of successful candidates whose details did not appear on the JAMB CAPS.
This could be due to an incomplete change of institution or failure to select the Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences as a first choice.
Next Steps for Admitted Candidates
If your name appears on any of the admission lists, follow these steps carefully:
- Log in to your JAMB portal from Tuesday, 11th November 2025, to accept your admission.
- Expect your provisional admission letter via email within 48 hours, or access it directly through the college portal.
- Pay your acceptance fee via the college portal to obtain your official admission letter.
- Proceed to pay your school fees as instructed.
- Prepare for resumption — the official date will be stated in your admission letter.
Instructions for Floating List Candidates
Candidates whose names appear on the Floating List must visit the Admission Office at the Main Campus, Ikot Ekpene, on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, by 9:00 a.m.
This visit is for verification and additional instructions from the admissions unit.

- All admission formalities must be completed within two (2) weeks of receiving your provisional admission letter.
- Failure to comply with the stated deadlines may lead to forfeiture of admission.
