The College of Nursing Sciences, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Zaria has officially released the screening schedule and guidelines for all applicants seeking admission into its nursing programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The exercise will determine candidates’ eligibility for admission based on their UTME performance, academic qualifications, and performance in the upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) screening.

- Initial Announcement Date: Wednesday, 17th September 2025
- CBT/Screening Date: Monday, 29th September 2025
- Venue: Iya Abubakar CBT Centre, ABU Main Campus, Zaria
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for participation, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- UTME Requirement – Must have sat for the 2025 UTME and scored 140 or above.
- Institution Choice – Must have chosen ABUTH College of Nursing Sciences as their first choice institution in JAMB.
- Academic Requirement – Must possess at least five (5) credit passes in not more than two sittings in SSCE (WAEC/NECO or equivalent).
- Compulsory subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry.
- Age Requirement – Must be 16 years or older by 30th October 2025.
CBT/Screening Fee Payment (via Remita)
All candidates must pay a non-refundable screening fee through the Remita platform:
- Visit www.remita.net
- Select “Pay TSA and State” → Choose FGN.
- Select Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital.
- Choose School Fees option.
- Enter your details and complete payment.
Screening / CBT Exercise Details
- Date: Monday, 29th September 2025
- Venue: Iya Abubakar CBT Centre, ABU Main Campus, Zaria
Note: Candidates who fail to attend the CBT and screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
Mandatory Documents for Screening
Candidates must come with the following documents on the day of the screening/CBT:
- Original JAMB result slip
- A valid means of identification (e.g., National ID, voter’s card, driver’s license, or school ID)
- Original copies of all academic credentials (SSCE certificates, etc.)
