ATBU PUTME Deadline Extension The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has officially approved an extension for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME online screening registration. This extension offers additional time for candidates who selected ATBU as their First Choice—or those currently processing a JAMB Change of Institution—to complete their online profiles and upload their required O’Level credentials.
The exercise covers all eligible UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates seeking admission into undergraduate degree programs across various faculties for the current academic session.
Eligibility Criteria & General Entry Requirements
Candidates taking advantage of this deadline extension must meet the following baseline requirements:
UTME Cut-Off Mark: Candidates must have written the 2026 UTME and scored 160 and above (higher cut-off thresholds apply for competitive engineering and science courses).
First Choice Selection: ATBU Bauchi must be chosen as the First Choice institution on the official JAMB portal.
O’Level Criteria: A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
Direct Entry Applicants: Candidates must possess a recognized Diploma (ND/HND), NCE, or IJMB/A-Level qualification with relevant credit grades.
