Your 5-Step BUK Course Change Checklist:
This checklist is mandatory to finalize your offer and avoid jeopardizing your admission:
- Change at CBT Centre: Visit any JAMB-Accredited CBT Centre to process the change from your previous course to the new one on the JAMB portal.
- Upload O’Levels: Crucially, ensure your valid O’Level results are uploaded during this BUK Course Change process—this is compulsory!
- Get the Slip: Print the official Course Change Confirmation Slip from the portal showing the new course.
- Submit to BUK: Take this slip directly to the BUK DEAR Office to finalize the update in the university’s internal records.
- Not in Kano? If you are outside Kano, you can authorize a trusted representative to submit the documents to the DEAR office on your behalf.
Do not delay! Failure to follow all five steps will jeopardize your offer for the new course and invalidate your BUK Course Change.
