The management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has officially announced the commencement of acceptance fee payment for all candidates offered provisional admission into the university for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the notice, all admitted candidates who have generated their admission letters on JAMB CAPS are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira) through the University Admission Portal:
www.admissions.ui.edu.ng
The payment portal will be open from Monday, 10th November 2025 to Friday, 5th December 2025. The university emphasizes that no extension will be granted after the deadline.
Payment Instructions
- Log in to the UI Admission Portal using your credentials.
- Select a payment method:
- Card Payment – Use your debit/credit (ATM) card.
- Bank Branch – Print the payment slip, pay at any listed bank, then return to the portal to confirm your payment.
- After successful payment, print your payment receipt for record purposes.
Required Uploads
All candidates must upload the following documents alongside their payment:
- O’Level result(s)
- WAEC/NECO scratch card PIN and serial number
Important Notes
- After completing payment, candidates must present their original credentials to designated officers at the Undergraduate Admissions Office for clearance (date to be announced later).
- Only those who successfully complete the clearance process will be matriculated as bona fide students of the University of Ibadan.
- Any admission obtained through false or irregular credentials will be withdrawn immediately.
- Refund requests for acceptance fee payments will not be entertained.
