This directive applies specifically to UTME candidates who have been provisionally recommended for admission into courses different from their original JAMB application (i.e., those admitted via Advert, Shopping, or Supplementary routes).
To validate and finalize your admission offer, you must complete an immediate UNN Change of Course 2025/2026 procedure on the JAMB portal.
Action Required: The Mandatory UNN CAPS Update
All affected candidates must visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre immediately and perform the following mandatory steps:
- Change Your Course on JAMB CAPS: Officially change your course on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). You must switch from your initial programme to the specific new course that UNN recommended to you.
- Submit Updated Status to UNN: Print the updated admission status or course confirmation slip from CAPS. You must immediately submit this document to the UNN Admissions Office.
Critical Deadline to Finalize UNN Admission
The University strongly advises that candidates complete this entire UNN CAPS Update requirement before 12:00 PM (noon) on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Please Note: Completing this UNN Change of Course 2025/2026 is mandatory. UNN emphasizes that this is the only official way the university can fully recommend, process, and validate your admission within the JAMB CAPS system. Failure to comply with this urgent directive before the deadline will unfortunately lead to the forfeiture of the provisional admission offer.
