This is to inform all prospective students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) that the management has released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.

How to Check UNIZIK Admission List

As of now, candidates can check their admission status only on the JAMB CAPS Portal.

Steps to Check on JAMB Portal

1. Visit JAMB CAPS Portal.
2. Log in with your JAMB username and password.
3. Scroll down and click “Check Admission Status.”
4. Select “Access my CAPS”.
5. On your browser, click the three dots (⋮) and enable Desktop Site.
6. Click “Admission Status” again to view your result.

You will see one of the following:

• CONGRATULATIONS… – Accept or Reject your admission.
• ADMISSION IN PROGRESS… – Be patient and check back later.
• NOT ADMITTED – Keep checking, as more names may still be uploaded.

Important Information for Admitted Candidates

If you’ve been offered admission:

• Log in to JAMB CAPS and ACCEPT or REJECT your offer.
• Print your JAMB Admission Letter.
• Print your Original JAMB Result Slip (with passport photo).
• Apply for a Change of Course on JAMB Portal if your course is different from the one you applied for.

Extra Step via SMS

• Send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using your JAMB-linked phone number.
• After acceptance, print your JAMB Admission Letter (needed for clearance).

Check Admission Status on UNIZIK Portal

You can also confirm your admission on the university portal:

1. Visit UNIZIK Admission Portal.
2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Password.
3. Click “Sign In” to view your admission status.
4. Accept your admission and print both your JAMB and UNIZIK Admission Letters.

Note: If you see “Admission in Progress” on UNIZIK’s portal, it does not guarantee admission. It’s only a default message until your status is updated.
