The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has officially opened its portal for the payment of acceptance fees for all newly admitted students (UTME and Direct Entry) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This payment confirms each candidate’s provisional admission and secures their place at the university.
Key Payment Details
- Acceptance Fee Amount: ₦30,000 (Thirty Thousand Naira only)
- Deadline: Thursday, October 30, 2025
- Eligibility: Applies to all students whose names appear on the provisional admission list uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
Candidates must pay on or before the deadline to avoid automatic forfeiture of their admission, as the university will reassign unclaimed offers to other applicants.
How to Pay the UNIUYO Acceptance Fee
Follow these steps carefully to complete your payment:
- Visit the UNIUYO E-Portal
Go to https://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals.
Log in with your JAMB registration number and the password used during your application.
If required, create an account using your correct personal details. - Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)
Navigate to “Make Payment” or “Acceptance Fee” under the 2025/2026 session.
Generate your RRR directly from the portal. This ensures secure and verified transactions. - Make Payment
Pay the ₦30,000 acceptance fee online via Remita or at any commercial bank such as First Bank, Zenith Bank, or UBA.
Ensure you use the RRR code generated from the portal. - Print Your Receipt
Once payment is successful, return to the portal and print your e-payment receipt. - Authenticate Your Receipt
Visit the Bursary Department at UNIUYO with your printed receipt for official authentication and stamping.
This step is mandatory before the screening process.
Important Information for New Students
- The acceptance fee is non-refundable and covers administrative and processing costs.
- After authentication, regularly check the portal for screening, registration, and lecture commencement updates.
- You must also accept your admission on JAMB CAPS within 48 hours of receiving your admission notification.
- Do not pay through unofficial channels, agents, or third parties.
- Keep printed copies of your RRR, payment receipt, and stamped documents for use during registration and clearance.
