PAAU Announces Onsite Resumption for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Management of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has announced the onsite resumption of academic activities for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session, beginning Monday, October 20, 2025. Lectures will start on or around this date.

Online registration and fee payment opened on Sunday, October 12, 2025, and both new and returning students are advised to complete all registration processes early. Late registration begins on October 27, 2025, and will attract penalties according to university regulations.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Marietu Ohunene Tenuche welcomes students back to campus and reaffirms the institution’s dedication to academic excellence, discipline, and student welfare. The Admissions Office has also confirmed that screening continues for candidates who chose PAAU as their preferred institution via JAMB.
Successful applicants should check their admission status on paau.edu.ng or through JAMB CAPS, then proceed with acceptance and registration.

PAAU offers a wide range of academic programmes designed to nurture intellectual growth, moral integrity, and practical skills essential for national development.

  • October 12, 2025: Online platform opens for fee payment and course registration
  • October 20, 2025: Onsite resumption and start of lectures

  • November 3, 2025: Submission of files for newly admitted students
  • November 17–21, 2025: First Continuous Assessment
  • December 15–19, 2025: Second Continuous Assessment
  • December 23, 2025: Commencement of Christmas and New Year break
  • January 17, 2026: End of lectures across all faculties
  • January 19–February 14, 2026: First Semester Examinations
  • July 12, 2026: End of 2025/2026 Academic Session
