The management of the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Abia (FUMMSA) has released the timetable for the Physical Admission Screening Exercise for all successfully shortlisted candidates into its undergraduate programmes.

Screening Dates & Batches

The screening will run for 3 days in 3 batches as follows:

• Day 1 – Wednesday, 10th September 2025
  Programmes: Medicine, Dentistry, IT & Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Optometry.
• Day 2 – Thursday, 11th September 2025
  Programmes: Pharmacy, Nursing, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Dental Surgery.
• Day 3 – Friday, 12th September 2025
  Programmes: Nutrition & Dietetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Statistics, Pharmacology.

Note: Applicants for Anatomy, Physiology, and Public Health should await official communication from the university before proceeding.

Screening Requirements

Candidates are to come with both originals and photocopies of the following documents:

1. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age (Original + 4 photocopies)
2. O’Level Result/Certificate (Original + 4 photocopies)
3. JAMB Result Slip (Original + 4 photocopies) – Admission Letter if available
4. Two (2) recent passport photographs
5. Biometric confirmation with JAMB results (if possible)
6. Attestation of good character (signed by a reputable person/authority)

Important Notes

• Candidates should strictly attend on the date assigned to their programme.
• Ensure all documents are neatly arranged for smooth verification.
• Missing documents may lead to disqualification from the screening process.
