The Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa has officially opened its admission application for the 2025/2026 academic session. Prospective students are invited to apply for various programmes, with limited slots available.
Available Programmes:
The polytechnic offers a range of programmes designed to equip students with practical skills and knowledge:
▪ National Diploma (ND): Entry-level programmes for secondary school leavers. Candidates typically require at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in SSCE/NECO or equivalent, and must meet the JAMB (UTME) cut-off points.
▪ Higher National Diploma (HND): Advanced programmes for ND holders seeking further specialization. Applicants usually need a relevant ND with at least a Lower Credit, five O’Level credits (including English and Maths), and a minimum of one-year post-qualification industrial attachment.
▪ Pre-ND, Pre-HND, and IJMB: Preparatory and direct entry programmes for various levels.
The institution has a wide array of courses across its schools, including:
▪ School of Applied Sciences (e.g., Science Laboratory Technology, Computer Science, Statistics)
▪ School of Business Studies (e.g., Accountancy, Business Administration & Management, Marketing, Public Administration)
