Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) Admission Guide for 2025/2026
The Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) in Ondo City, Ondo State, has shared its 2025/2026 admission details for prospective students.
Formerly Adeyemi College of Education, the institution became a federal university in 2023. AFUED focuses on training professional educators and improving the quality of teaching in Nigeria.
Admission Requirements
For the 2025/2026 academic session, AFUED has set a minimum JAMB/UTME cut-off mark of 150.
Candidates who scored 150 or above in UTME can apply for the Post-UTME screening once it opens.
Direct Entry (DE) applicants must have at least 7 points, including one Merit Pass.
Although the general cut-off mark is 150, some departments—especially those in Education Sciences—may set higher internal cut-offs, reaching 160 or more due to demand.
Students who did not choose AFUED as their first choice can still apply. They must, however, change their institution preference on JAMB CAPS before the Post-UTME screening begins.
Admission Timeline and Updates
The 2024/2025 Post-UTME registration ended on December 31, 2024. Since then, the university has released several admission lists, including the third batch.
Currently, AFUED is in its second semester for the 2024/2025 session, with academic activities ongoing. The Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) orientation took place on October 7, 2025.
For the next session, 2025/2026 Post-UTME forms are not yet available, but the announcement is expected around November or December 2025, following JAMB’s national schedule.
Meanwhile, part-time degree applications—run in affiliation with Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)—are still open until November 28, 2025. Lectures for new part-time students will start in December 2025.
