The Management of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo State, has officially released its First Batch Admission List for candidates admitted into various undergraduate degree programs for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who participated in the 2026 UNIMED Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercises can now check their admission status online via both the UNIMED Student Portal and the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check UNIMED Admission Status on University Portal
Candidates should follow these steps to verify their admission status on the official university portal:
- Visit the UNIMED Portal at www.unimed.edu.ng and navigate to Post-UTME / Admission Status.
- Input your JAMB Registration Number in the provided space.
- Click on Check Admission Status to view your offer.
How to Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
Admitted candidates are required to officially accept their admission offer on JAMB CAPS to finalize their provisional admission.
- Go to the JAMB E-facility Portal (efacility.jamb.gov.ng) and log in with your registered email and password.
- Click on Check Admission Status and select Access my CAPS.
- Click on Admission Status in the left menu.
- Click ACCEPT or REJECT next to your admission offer.
- If offered a course different from what you originally applied for, click to accept the Change of Course prompt first.
Important Note: Do not click “REJECT” unless you are declining the offer entirely, as this decision is irreversible.
Next Steps for Admitted Candidates
Upon accepting the admission offer on JAMB CAPS, freshers should immediately proceed with the following steps:
- Print Official Documents: Print your official JAMB Admission Letter and JAMB Result Slip.
- Pay Acceptance Fee: Log back into the UNIMED Portal to pay the mandatory non-refundable acceptance fee.
- Prepare Clearance Documents: Gather original copies of your O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), Birth Certificate/Age Declaration, Local Government Identification, and Passport Photographs for physical screening.
