Commencement of Post-UTME Online Portal
August 10, 2026
The official university registration portal opens. Candidates can begin uploading their WAEC/NECO/NABTEB O’Level results and paying the screening fees.
Close of Online Registration
September 18, 2026
The application portal closes for regular submissions. No further updates to bio-data or results will be allowed after this date.
Interactive Post-UTME / DE Screening
October 5 – October 16, 2026
Depending on the department, candidates will undergo online credential evaluation or physical screening interactions (primarily for competitive courses like Medicine, Law, and Engineering).
Release of First Batch Admission List
November 9, 2026
The primary merit list is uploaded to both the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and the UNIABUJA Portal.
Eligibility & Core Requirements
To successfully participate in the screening process, candidates must fulfill the following baseline parameters:
- UTME Cut-Off Point: A minimum score of 180 in the 2026 UTME. Highly competitive courses (e.g., Medicine, Nursing, Law, and Pharmacy) require a score of 220 to 250 or higher.
- O’Level Credits: Five (5) relevant credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.
- Primary Choice: Candidates must have chosen the University of Abuja as their first choice on the JAMB portal. If not, a change of institution must be completed before the portal registration deadline.

Registration will be processed entirely through the university’s centralized portal.

Visit the official UNIABUJA portal layout at portal.uniabuja.edu.ng.
2.Verify JAMB Profile:Step 2.
Select “Post-UTME/DE” under the admissions tab. Enter your JAMB Registration Number to retrieve your basic profile.
3.Pay the Screening Fee:Step 3.
Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and pay the mandatory ₦2,000.00 screening fee online.
4.Upload Academic Data:Step 4.
Carefully enter your O’Level results. Ensure you select the correct subject combinations matching your course choice.
5.Final Submission & Printout:Step 5.
