The management of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) has officially invited qualified candidates to apply for its College of Nursing Sciences ND/HND Nursing programme for the 2026/2027 academic session. Specifically, this admission cycle is for the 4-year non-terminal General Nursing programme. Consequently, candidates who met the JAMB cut-off and possess the required O’Level credits can now begin their registration on the school’s official portal
Requirements for UITH Nursing Post UTME 2026
To qualify for the UITH College of Nursing Sciences Post UTME 2026, applicants must meet the following strict criteria:
- JAMB Cut-off Mark: Candidates must have scored at least 180 in the 2026 UTME.
- Subject Combination: You must have written English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in the 2026 JAMB.
- O’Level Credits: A minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Indeed, these must be obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application.
- Choice of Institution: UITH Ilorin must be your first choice on the JAMB portal. Therefore, if you did not choose them initially, you must effect a change of institution immediately.
Application Fees and Document Upload
The total cost for the application is ₦10,000. Specifically, the fee breakdown includes:
- Post UTME Fee: ₦2,000.
- Screening/Interview Fee: ₦7,000.
- Administration Charges: ₦1,000.
During the registration, you are required to upload scanned copies of:
- JAMB Result and Change of Institution slips.
- Original O’Level certificates and Birth certificate (NPC).
- Passport photograph and Remita payment receipt.
- Moreover, you must upload a scanned signature of your sponsor and three typed referee letters on the referee’s letterhead.
Method of Application
- Generate Payment: Visit the Remita platform and select “University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital” under “Who do you want to pay”. Select “UITH General Purpose” as the service type.
- Online Registration: After payment, proceed to the UITH Website to fill the application form.
- Email Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation link via email; click it to continue your registration on the same browser.
- Final Submission: Complete all sections, including sponsor and referee details, then submit to download your application printout.
