The first semester features 11 weeks of lectures, preceded by orientation for new students.
- Student Arrival & Orientation: Saturday, January 10, 2026
- Lectures Begin: Monday, February 2, 2026
- Founders’ Day/Week & Matriculation: Monday, February 2 – Friday, February 6, 2026
- Eid al-Fitr Break: Friday, March 20, 2026
- Easter Break: Friday, March 27 – Monday, April 6, 2026
- Revision Week: Monday, April 20 – Friday, April 25, 2026
- Examinations: Tuesday, April 27 – Friday, May 15, 2026 (3 weeks)
The Senate will subsequently hold an extraordinary meeting to consider first-semester results on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
Second Semester 2025/2026: Schedule
The second semester also runs for 11 weeks of lectures and concludes the FUET Academic Calendar 2025/2026 session.
- Resumption: Saturday, June 13, 2026
- Lectures Begin: Monday, June 15, 2026
- Eid al-Maulud Break: Tuesday, August 25, 2026
- Students’ Week: Wednesday, August 27 – Friday, August 29, 2026
- Revision Week: Monday, August 31 – Friday, September 4, 2026
- Examinations: Monday, September 7 – Friday, September 25, 2026 (3 weeks)
The final extraordinary Senate meeting for second-semester results is slated for Wednesday, November 11, 2026. New students are strongly advised to mark January 10, 2026, as the mandatory arrival date.
