The management of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has released important admission guidelines for candidates seeking admission for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Key Points for Candidates

1. Eligibility
   • Only applicants who participated in the Post-UTME Screening exercise will be considered for admission.
2. Result Printing
   • Candidates are advised to log on to the Post-UTME portal to print their results. Printing of results has already commenced.
3. Minimum Aggregate Score
   • A minimum of 40% final aggregate is required to qualify for full-time admission.
   • Aggregate Score Calculation: (UTME Score400×60)+(PUTME Score100×40)\left(\frac{\text{UTME Score}}{400} \times 60\right) + \left(\frac{\text{PUTME Score}}{100} \times 40\right)(400UTME Score​×60)+(100PUTME Score​×40)
4. Admission via JAMB CAPS
   • All admissions will be processed through JAMB CAPS.
   • Candidates must regularly check CAPS to accept their admission once offered.
5. Validation of Admission
   • Candidates who do not validate their admission via JAMB CAPS will not be able to print their JAMB Admission Letters.
6. Refusal to Accept Admission
   • Any candidate offered admission on JAMB CAPS but who fails to accept the offer will not be issued a JAMB Admission Letter and cannot proceed with registration.
7. Printing Admission Letter
   • After accepting admission on JAMB CAPS, candidates should print their JAMB Admission Letters and then proceed to the OOU Admission Portal to begin registration.
8. Change of Course / Transfer Offers
   • Candidates offered admission into a different programme must first accept the Programme/Course Transfer Offer on JAMB CAPS.
   • Afterwards, they must accept the new admission offer and complete a Change of Course within 2 weeks in order to print their JAMB Admission Letter.
