The management of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its Pre-Degree Programme in Arts, Engineering, Science, and Social Sciences for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Programme Overview
The LASUSTECH Pre-Degree Programme is a rigorous and comprehensive 8-month programme (two semesters) designed to prepare candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and subsequent admission into the 100-Level Degree Programme of LASUSTECH.
Eligibility Criteria
O’Level Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits at one or two sittings, including English Language.
- Specific subject requirements apply to Science, Social Sciences, and Arts courses.
- Awaiting result candidates may also apply.
Credit Deficient Candidates
- Candidates with at least three credits in relevant subjects may also apply.
- Such candidates must register for and pass the 2025 WAEC/NECO examinations to complete their O’Level requirements before the end of the programme.
Qualifying Examination
- Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a written test as part of the admission process.
Criteria for Admission into 100-Level
- Candidates must:
- Sit for the 2026 UTME.
- Attain the Minimum Tolerable Score (MTS) of LASUSTECH.
- Meet all other prescribed admission requirements of the University.
Duration of the Programme
- The programme runs for 8 months (two semesters).

- Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦15,000.
- Complete the online form and upload required documents (academic transcripts, birth certificate, etc.).
- Submit the completed form online and also forward copies to the Pre-Degree Programme Office, LASUSTECH, Ikorodu.
