The management of Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt has issued an official disclaimer concerning a social media publication alleging that the 2025/2026 academic session will commence on Monday, 6th October 2025.
The University wishes to make the following clarifications:
- The said publication is false, misleading, and unauthorized by RSU.
- RSU will continue to operate strictly in line with its approved Academic Calendar.
- Official information regarding resumption, vacation, and other academic activities will only be communicated through the University’s recognized platforms.
- The University completely dissociates itself from the false publication and strongly advises students, staff, and the general public to disregard it.
