What is Allowed?

1. JAMB UTME Slip: The first and most important item on the JAMB Exam Day Checklist is your JAMB UTME Exam Slip. This is the document that contains your exam date, time, and venue. You will not be allowed to enter the exam center without this slip, so make sure you print it out at least 48 hours before JAMB Exam date and keep it in a safe place. Also make sure to find out where your center is located and the transport fare amount to get you there.
2. HB Pencil: One of the materials you will need to write the JAMB UTME exam is an HB pencil. This is the recommended pencil for the exam.

What is Not Allowed?

1. No Food is allowed in the test center
2. No Mobile Phones are allowed in the test center
3. No Electronic devices (like spy reading glasses, cameras, ear piece, Bluetooth devices, USB, CD, hard disk and other similar storage devices, Others are: pen/biro, smart lenses, books or any reading/writing material, ink/pen readers, key holders, ATM cards, erasers and smart rings/jewelries). You are not allowed to bring electronic devices to the exam hall, but you can bring a simple analog watch. This will help you keep track of the time during the exam.
4. No Note book or Textbook is Allowed in the test center
5. No physical Calculator is Allowed in the test center, you will be provided with one on the screen on the examination day

After a physical screening by security agents, you will proceed to do your biometric verification before you are admitted into the exam hall.

JAMB UTME is a very important exam, and it is important to be fully prepared for it. Make sure you have everything on the JAMB Exam Day Checklist before you leave for your exam center, please leave home early, do not arrive late as you will not be allowed to write your exam if you are late, arrive at least 1hr before your exam time.
