HOW TO CHECK YOUR ADMISSION STATUS ON JAMB CAPS

To know if you have been offered admission for the 2025/2026 academic session, follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the JAMB e-facility portal https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
2. Log in with your registered email address and password.
3. Scroll down and click on “Check Admission Status.”
4. Select “Access CAPS.”
5. Click on “Regular Admission Status” to view your current admission status.

Possible Messages You May See:

• Not Admitted: This means your institution has not started offering admission yet, or you may not have met the requirements.
• Admission in Process: This indicates that your admission is currently being processed. There’s a very high chance (99.9%) you will be offered admission soon.
• Congratulations Message: This means you have been offered admission. Your photo and details will also appear.

HOW TO ACCEPT OR REJECT YOUR ADMISSION VIA SMS

Once you have been offered admission, you need to either accept or reject it. Here’s how:

1. Make sure you have enough airtime on the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
2. Type your JAMB Registration Number, then leave a space.
3. Type either ACCEPT or REJECT.
4. Send it as an SMS to 55019.

Important Note:

• You must respond within the given timeframe (usually 4 weeks) or risk losing the admission.
• If you don’t have access to your linked phone number, visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre to complete the acceptance or rejection.
• Always check your CAPS using Chrome Browser in Desktop Mode for full access if you’re on a phone.

Final Tip: Check your CAPS regularly. Admission lists are uploaded in batches, so if you see “Not Admitted” now, don’t panic—it may change soon.
