The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has announced the release of its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.

All candidates who participated in the Post-UTME screening exercise are strongly advised to check their admission status on JAMB CAPS to confirm if they have been offered provisional admission into their chosen programmes.

How to Check UDUS Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

1. Visit the JAMB E-facility portal https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
2. Login with your registered email and password.
3. Click on “Check Admission Status.”
4. Select “Access my CAPS.”
5. Click on “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.

If admitted, your details with a “Congratulations” message will appear.
If not yet admitted, you will see: “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”

Important Notes for Admitted Candidates

• Accept or Reject the Offer:
  • Candidates must either ACCEPT or REJECT their admission within 4 weeks.
  • This can be done by:
    • Sending ACCEPT or REJECT as SMS to 55019 or 66019 (using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile).
    • Or visiting any JAMB-accredited CBT centre for assistance.
• Print JAMB Admission Letter: After accepting the offer, ensure you print your JAMB Admission Letter, which will be required for clearance and registration at UDUS.
• For Mobile Users: If the “Admission Status” option doesn’t appear on CAPS, switch your browser to Desktop Mode (Chrome browser is recommended).

Next Steps After Admission

1. Accept your admission on CAPS immediately to secure your spot.
2. Print both the JAMB admission letter and UDUS admission slip when available.
3. Get ready for the physical clearance and registration exercise at the university.
4. Prepare all required documents:
   • O’Level result(s)
   • JAMB result slip
   • Birth certificate/age declaration
   • Local government identification
   • Admission letter(s)
   • Recent passport photographs
