The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka has once again announced an extension of the ongoing 2025/2026 Post-UTME registration exercise.

Originally scheduled to close earlier, the university has now shifted the deadline to Sunday, 7th September, 2025, giving prospective candidates additional time to complete their application process.

Reason for the Extension

According to the management, the extension is intended to accommodate candidates who may have:

• Faced technical challenges while trying to register,
• Experienced delays in processing required documents, or
• Were unable to access the portal before the initial deadline.

This move reflects the university’s commitment to inclusiveness and fairness, ensuring that every eligible candidate has a chance to participate in the screening process.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

• Candidates who chose Delta State University, Abraka as their first choice in the 2025 UTME.
• Candidates who scored the required minimum cut-off mark set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
• Candidates who have uploaded their O’Level results on the JAMB portal.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official DELSU portal: www.delsu.edu.ng
2. Click on “Post-UTME Admission Screening”.
3. Log in with your UTME registration number.
4. Fill in the required details carefully.
5. Make payment using the available online payment options.
6. Print out your acknowledgement slip after completing the registration.

Important Reminder

• This is a final extension. The portal will be permanently closed after Sunday, 7th September, 2025.
• No late applications will be accepted.
• Candidates are strongly advised to complete their registration before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
