The Nigerian Maritime University (NMU) has released the Provisional Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who took part in the admission screening exercise can now check their admission status on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check NMU Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
- Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
- Log in with your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access My CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to view your result.
- If admitted, your photo and a congratulatory message will be displayed.
- If not yet admitted, you will see: “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
What to Do After Admission Offer
- Candidates must either accept or reject the admission:
- Send ACCEPT or REJECT as SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- If your phone number is not linked, visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete the process.
- Candidates are given 4 weeks to accept the admission offer.
- Once accepted, print your JAMB Admission Letter — this will be required for clearance and registration at NMU.
Important Notes
- Mobile users may not see the full CAPS options. To access the complete page, switch your browser to desktop mode (recommended: Chrome).
- Admission is released in batches, so if you are not yet admitted, continue checking the portal regularly.
