The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced a UNICAL 2025/2026 admission extension, following a directive from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The new admission deadline is now Sunday, 17th November 2025.
UNICAL is urging all qualified candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME to take advantage of this admission extension and apply immediately for the programmes still open.
Programmes Available Under the UNICAL 2025/2026 Admission Extension
UNICAL is currently accepting applications into the following departments and faculties:
- Faculty of Agriculture
- Faculty of Education
- Department of Religious and Cultural Studies
- Department of Modern Languages and Translation Studies
- Department of Mathematics
- Department of Statistics
UNICAL states clearly that only these programmes remain open for the 2025/2026 academic session. All other departments are closed and will not accept applications.
