The management of Sa’adu Zungur University, Gadau (SAZUG) has officially released its second batch admission list for undergraduate programmes into the 2025/2026 academic session.
Shortlisted candidates are now required to take part in the mandatory physical screening exercise, which is a vital stage before final clearance and registration.
Screening Schedule
- Start Date: Monday, 8th September 2025
- Closing Date: Monday, 22nd September 2025
- Venue: The respective campuses where each candidate’s programme is domiciled.
This means candidates must report to the campus hosting their department/faculty (not a central location).
Requirements for Physical Screening
All shortlisted candidates must present both originals and photocopies of the following documents for verification:
- Computer Printout of SSCE Result (WAEC, NECO, or equivalent)
- JAMB Result Slip (as evidence of UTME performance)
- Online Screening Form (downloaded and printed from SAZUG portal)
- One recent passport photograph (for identification)
- Valid O’Level Scratch Card (WAEC/NECO) – this will be used to verify results online.
Important Notes
- Upload O’Level Results: All candidates must ensure their O’Level results are properly uploaded on the JAMB portal at any accredited JAMB CBT centre before the screening date. Failure to do this will lead to disqualification.
- Admission Acceptance on JAMB CAPS:
- Two (2) to three (3) days after completing the screening, candidates should log in to the JAMB portal (CAPS) to accept their admission.
- Once accepted, they can then print their JAMB admission letter.
- Final Confirmation on SAZUG Portal: Only candidates who have accepted their admission on JAMB CAPS will be able to confirm and print their admission status on the SAZUG official portal.
Next Steps After Screening
- Participate in screening with all required documents.
- Wait 2–3 days for clearance confirmation.
- Accept admission on JAMB CAPS and print your admission letter.
- Check SAZUG portal for updated admission status.
- Proceed to registration with clearance documents when instructed.
Final Note
This announcement confirms that SAZUG has moved into the second phase of admissions for 2025/2026. Candidates who find their names on the list should act promptly, complete the screening within the stated dates, and ensure their admission is validated on both JAMB CAPS and the school portal.
Missing the screening exercise or failing to accept admission on JAMB CAPS may lead to forfeiture of the admission offer.
