The management of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo has officially released the online clearance schedule for all newly admitted full-time undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The clearance exercise will be conducted via the Lagos State University Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA) platform. This process is mandatory for all fresh students, as it confirms their eligibility and validates their admission status before full registration.
What is LACACA?
The LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA) is an online clearance system that enables new students to submit, verify, and authenticate their admission credentials digitally. It eliminates manual screening and ensures a smooth clearance process.
Requirements for Online Clearance
Candidates are expected to upload the following documents on the LACACA portal:
- Birth Certificate/Sworn Affidavit of Age Declaration
- WAEC/NECO/NABTEB O’Level Results (Scratch card details required for verification)
- JAMB Admission Letter
- LASU Admission Letter (downloadable from LASU portal)
- Evidence of Payment of Acceptance Fee
- Passport Photograph (recent and clear background)
- Any other supporting documents required by LASU
Clearance Procedure
- Visit www.lasu.edu.ng
- Log in to the LACACA portal using your JAMB Registration Number.
- Upload the required documents in the appropriate fields.
- Wait for online verification and clearance status update.
- Once cleared, proceed to complete your course registration and other onboarding processes.
Important Notes
- The clearance must be completed within the specified time frame; failure to do so may lead to forfeiture of admission.
- Only candidates who successfully complete the LACACA clearance will be allowed to participate in other academic activities.
- Candidates are strongly advised to ensure that all documents uploaded are genuine and verifiable.
