The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) invites applications from qualified candidates for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise for admission into all undergraduate programmes.

Opens: Friday, July 25, 2025
Closes: Friday, August 28, 2025
Who Is Eligible for FUTA Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025?
- Candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2025 UTME conducted by JAMB.
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose FUTA as their First Choice institution.
- Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or their equivalent.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.
- All eligible candidates must upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS before the deadline.
How to Apply for FUTA Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025
- Visit the official FUTA portal: www.futa.edu.ng – https://firarsapp.futa.edu.ng/applications/applications
- Click on the Post-UTME/DE Application link for 2025/2026.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and fill in your Full Name (as it appears on your JAMB slip).
- Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and make a payment of ₦2,000 only via any commercial bank or online payment channel.
- Return to the portal to complete the Online Registration Form.
- Print out your Post-UTME Registration Slip for reference.
Important Notes:
- Failure to register within the stipulated timeframe disqualifies candidates from the screening and subsequent admission consideration.
- Incomplete or inaccurate information during registration may affect your admission chances.
- Ensure that your O’Level results are correctly uploaded to JAMB CAPS and shared with FUTA before August 28, 2025.
- Candidates who are not screened will not be considered for admission.
