Final Admission Requirements

• Payment is Mandatory: Candidates who fail to make the necessary payments (acceptance and school fees) on or before Friday, November 28, 2025, will not be included in the Matriculation List; consequently, they forfeit their admission.
• JAMB CAPS Acceptance: Furthermore, candidates who have received an admission offer on JAMB CAPS but have not yet accepted must immediately ensure they accept the admission offer, print their admission letters, and pay their acceptance and school fees before the stated deadline.
• Matriculation Ceremony: Finally, the University Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted candidates will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

This notice serves as the definitive confirmation of the deadlines for the OOU Admission Closure 2025/2026 exercise. The University strongly urges candidates and their guardians to ensure strict compliance.

Acceptance Fee Payment Details

Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₦70,000 to ₦75,000, depending on their programme.
Payments should be made through the official OOU Portal.

Although the university has not released a strict deadline, students are strongly advised to pay as soon as possible to avoid losing their admission offer.
After payment, candidates should keep a printed receipt as proof of payment.

How to Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS

To complete the admission process, students must also confirm their offers on the JAMB CAPS platform:

1. Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Log in and accept your admission within 48 hours of receiving the offer.

Failing to accept the offer within the required time may cause automatic forfeiture, and the spot may be given to another candidate.

Admission Status Updates

Candidates who still see “Admission in Progress” on JAMB CAPS should remain patient. This status means that OOU and JAMB are finalizing approval. Once the process is complete, successful candidates will see the option to accept their admission.

School Fee Payment Information

Payment of school fees has already started for admitted students. The amount is about ₦85,000, although it varies by department.
Some students may notice short payment delays, but these are temporary. Therefore, candidates should stay calm and continue checking the OOU portal for updates.

Introduction

The Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. Interested candidates are to take note of the guidelines, eligibility, and registration procedures outlined below.

Eligibility Criteria

UTME Candidates

To be eligible for OOU Post-UTME screening:

• You must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2025/2026 UTME.
• You must have chosen OOU as your first choice, or you’re willing to change to OOU before starting your registration.
• You must have uploaded your O’Level results (WAEC/NECO) on the JAMB CAPS.
• You must have printed your UTME result slip.
• Foreign candidates and candidates with disabilities are exempted.
• You must be at least 16 years old by September 2025.

Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry applicants must:

• Have applied to OOU through JAMB and possess a valid A-Level, OND, HND, NCE, JUPEB, or First Degree.
• Have a Diploma from OOU or from another approved institution with a minimum of Upper Credit.
• Upload all credentials including O’Level results on JAMB CAPS.

Screening Dates and Venue

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) screening will be held on the following dates:

The total cost of the screening form and administrative charges is ₦2,000 only.

How to Apply

Follow the steps below to complete your registration:

1. Visit the official OOU PUTME portal: https://putme.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/apply.php
2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number to start.
3. Create a profile and proceed to generate a payment invoice.
4. Make the payment online or via the designated bank.
5. Complete the online registration form and submit.
6. Print your OOU PUTME Screening Pass one week before your scheduled exam date.
7. Application closes 15th of August 2025

Documents Required for Screening

Each candidate must bring the following documents to the exam venue:
