The management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) wishes to notify the general public, especially all prospective students, that the deadline for the ongoing 2025 Post-UTME online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session has been officially extended.

The registration, which was previously scheduled to close earlier, will now remain open until Sunday, 7th September, 2025.

This extension was approved to provide an additional opportunity for candidates who are yet to finalize their online screening. It aims to accommodate applicants who may have encountered challenges such as technical difficulties, incomplete documentation, or limited access to the registration portal. The university management recognizes that certain unforeseen issues could have delayed some students, and has therefore granted this grace period to ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all qualified candidates.

All applicants who chose Bayero University, Kano as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and have attained the required cut-off marks are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this extension to complete their Post-UTME screening.

Please note that this is the final extension, and the portal will be permanently closed once the deadline elapses.
